Yesteryear Collection

The Leyland "Cub" was noted for its durability and protection, to fire fighters, around the globe. The Cub featured a 700 gallons per minute water pump and could deliver twelve firefighters to a fire scene. The Cub was built on a twelve foot wheel base and was powered by a 4.7 litre, 6 cylinder engine which provided up to 80 horsepower. This model was used to "piggyback" a 50 foot wheeled extendable escape ladder. With its durable nature and outstanding capabilities, the Leyland Cub was thought to be one of the greatest fire engines of its time.
